Thank You Korea and Japan

Eugenia Choe Trio had an amazing tour in South Korea and Japan! We performed at the 2016 Jarasum International Jazz Festival, along with such notable artists as Caetano Veloso, Manu Katche, and Spanish Harlem Orchestra! It was an honor and a thrill to be a part of such a prestigious festival. In addition to that concert, we had 3 other shows in Seoul, at All That Jazz, Changdong Paltform 61, and I Have a Dream.  Eugenia also got to fly out to Japan to play a couple concerts in Theolnious and Nardis, Tokyo. These were all great venues and we got so much support and love from the most amazing audiences. It was a dream, and we hope to be back there next year!

"Pianist Eugenia Choe releases her debut album for SteepleChase Records, which showcases her unique ear for composition and improvisation. The music has a personal sound and touch. Soulful, lyrical melodies combine with intricate rhythm and counterpoint. The band is comprised of like-minded colleagues who have been playing together for some time, giving this band a true collective sound."
